Active ingredient: Methylprednisolone aceponate, Urea

Comfoderm K: Used to treat primary inflammatory processes without evidence of bacterial infection.

Comfoderm M2: Prescribed in case, in addition to inflammation on the skin, there is a purulent lesion caused by bacteria.

Indications:

Inflammatory skin diseases sensitive to therapy with topical glucocorticosteroids and accompanied by impaired keratinization:

• atopic dermatitis, neurodermatitis;
• true eczema;
• microbial eczema;
• simple contact dermatitis;
• allergic (contact) dermatitis;
• Dyshydrotic eczema.

Side effects:

Very rarely (less than 0.01% of cases) local reactions can be observed, such as itching, burning, erythema, formation of a vesicular rash.

If the drug is used for more than 4 weeks and/or on an area of 10% or more of the body surface, the following reactions may occur: skin atrophy, telangiectasia, striae, acneiform skin changes, systemic effects due to corticosteroid absorption.

In rare cases (0.01%-0.1%), folliculitis, hypertrichosis, perioral dermatitis, skin depigmentation, allergic reactions to one of the components of the drug can be observed.

How to take, course and dosage:

Externally.

The preparation is applied 1 times a day in a thin layer on the affected skin areas. As a rule, the duration of continuous daily treatment with Comfoderm ® M2 should not exceed 12 weeks. When treating patients with facial skin lesions, the course of treatment should not exceed 5 days.
