UlcavisŪ is an anti-ulcer medicine with bactericidal activity against Helicobacter pylori (Helicobacter pylori) and also has anti-inflammatory and astringent properties.

Active ingredient - Bismuth tricalium dicitrate.

Indications:

• Gastric and duodenal ulcers in the acute phase, including those associated with Helicobacter pylori.
• Chronic gastritis and gastroduodenitis in the acute phase, including those associated with Helicobacter pylori.
• Irritable bowel syndrome with mainly diarrhoeal symptoms.

How to take, course of treatment and dosage:

Adults and children over 12 years of age take Ulcavis 1 tablet 4 times a day 30 min before a meal and at night or 2 tablets 2 times a day 30 min before a meal.

UlcavisŪ for children aged 8 to 12 years old 1 tablet 2 times a day 30 min before a meal.

In children from 4 to 8 years old in dose 8 mg/kg/day, depending on body weight 1 to 2 tablets/day (respectively, in 1 to 2 intakes/day) are prescribed. The daily dose should be as close as possible to the estimated dose (8 mg/kg/day).

The tablets are taken 30 minutes before a meal with a small amount of water.

The duration of treatment is 4 to 8 weeks. During the next 8 weeks, no medicines containing bismuth should be used.

For eradication of Helicobacter pylori, it is reasonable to use Ulcavis in combination with other antibacterial agents having anti-Helicobacterial activity (as recommended by the physician).
