How to take, course of treatment and dosage:

Intravenously, the drug is administered as a slow-release injection (over 3-5 minutes, depending on the prescribed dose) or as a drip infusion (40-60 drops per minute). The intravenous route is preferable to the intramuscular route. Repeated administration to the same site should be avoided when administering intramuscularly.

Acute period of ischemic stroke and craniocerebral injury: Recommended dose is 1000 mg every 12 hours from the first day of diagnosis; treatment duration is at least 6 weeks. After 3-5 days after the start of treatment (if swallowing function is not impaired), conversion to oral forms of CeraxonŽ is possible.

Special instructions:
