Pankramin - Pancreatic bioregulator

Recommended to improve the pancreas, normalizes digestion and metabolic processes in the body.

Packing: 40 tablets in a pack.

Pankramin is indicated for a variety of pancreatic dysfunctions, such as

  • Acute pancreatitis
  • Chronic pancreatitis
  • Insulin-independent diabetes
  • Gastrointestinal diseases with metabolic disorders
  • Pre- and post-operation period during gastrointestinal, pancreatic and duodenal surgeries
  • Older age (to maintain normal digestive system function)
  • Elderly people to support pancreatic cell activity

The pancreas, located behind the stomach, is 15-20 centimetres long and weighs only 50-70 grams. However, the importance of this organ in the digestion and metabolism of the body as a whole cannot be overstated. Firstly, the pancreas produces pancreatic juice, which consists of three main enzymes: lipase (helps break down fats), amylase (responsible for carbohydrates), chymotrypsin and trypsin (break down proteins). Secondly, the pancreas secretes insulin, glucagon and other hormones which, when released into the bloodstream, normalise glucose metabolism. If this system malfunctions, a formidable disease, diabetes, arises.

Pancreatic cell damage can be caused by many factors:

  • An infectious factor (viruses and bacteria) that causes inflammation of the pancreas pancreatitis;
  • Toxic factors (e.g. drinking alcohol) also damage pancreatic cells;
  • Prolonged elevation of blood glucose levels;
  • Autoimmune disorders and more.

How can pancreatic cells be repaired if they are damaged?

Of course, this depends on the mechanism and type of damage, which requires a special approach in each case. However, we can say in general - in almost all types of damage, the protein structure of the cells suffers. This was discovered in 1999 by Gunter Blobel, who won the Nobel Prize for his scientific work. The scientist discovered that the protein molecule is self-regulating. Deficiencies of proteins and peptides (with age or in the presence of damaging factors) accelerate the deterioration of tissues, the aging process and the development of diseases.

For cells to regenerate and be protected from damage, they primarily need proteins. But each type of tissue contains certain types of proteins.

How does Pankramin work?

The components for Pancramin derived from the pancreas of cattle do not contain insulin and are represented by a complex of proteins and nucleoproteins which have a specific, selective effect on the cellular structures of the human pancreas. This is because the complexes of proteins and nucleoproteins are identical in all mammals. Thanks to this Pancramin activates regenerative processes in the gland tissue and normalizes its digestive and hormonal functions.

Like all cytamines, through the mechanism of transcytosis, Pankramin acts specifically on pancreatic cells and helps to normalise their function.

Through the mechanism of transcytosis, the incoming protein ends up in its unchanged form in the target cell. In this case, the target cells are pancreatic cells - pancreocytes. Once inside them, Pancramin saturates them with optimal protein "food", allowing the cells to recover faster and normalize their functions - insulin and enzyme secretion for normal digestion.

Clinical trials of Pankramin were conducted in 125 patients with chronic pancreatitis and latent form of type 1 diabetes.

During a course of treatment with Pankramin in patients with chronic pancreatitis the appetite increased, the frequency of dyspeptic disorders decreased, the general well-being improved. An increase in the activity of pancreatic enzymes (trypsin and amylase) was observed, which corresponded to positive clinical dynamics.

In patients with latent form of diabetes Pankramin was used under the control of glucose tolerance test, and it was found that during Pankramin administration there was a gradual decrease in blood glucose level with its subsequent normalization.

Directions for use:

Pankramin recommended to take 1-3 tablets 10-15 minutes before a meal, 2-3 times a day, for 10-15 days. The course is repeated in 3-6 months. Pankramin has no contraindications and can be used both independently and as part of a comprehensive therapy.

What to use with?

Vazalamin - To improve blood supply to all organs, including the pancreas. Vasalamine is a natural bioregulator that is recommended to improve blood microcirculation in various organs and tissues.

Hepatamine - The pancreas is functionally inseparable from the liver and the biliary tract. Bioregulator of liver function, Hepatamin, is used in the complex treatment of liver and biliary tract lesions, which often accompany pancreatic diseases. Hepatamin normalises and improves liver function, speeds up its recovery from medication, poisoning and other negative factors.
