Timusamin - Immune system bioregulator
Promotes physiological activation of the immune system, accelerates immune recovery after exposure of the body to extreme factors.
Packing: 40 tablets per pack.
DIETARY SUPPLEMENTS. Not a medicine
Indications:
Timusamin is recommended for the following conditions, such as
The thymus, or thymus gland, is a small organ located in the upper part of the chest, just behind the sternum. The thymus is an important organ for immunity; it is where the maturation and immunological 'training' of certain cells of the immune system takes place.
The cells that mature in the thymus are called T-lymphocytes and are divided into several groups: T- killers (which destroy foreign viruses, bacteria and damaged cells of the body's own), T-helpers, which strengthen the immune response and T-suppressors, which inhibit immune activity, preventing the immune system from attacking its own body.
T-lymphocytes that have matured in the thymus travel sequentially to lymphoid organs such as the spleen, lymph nodes or tonsils, where they 'wait to meet' foreign agents.
A fully functioning thymus provides our body with protection, while various malfunctions result in a weakened immune system.
What else is the thymus responsible for?
It has been experimentally proved that the thymus gland is responsible for the following processes:
The thymus is most active in childhood, when immunity is formed, then its function weakens and in many people by the age of 30 the thymus gland is almost completely replaced by adipose tissue.
Thymic atrophy leads to a reduction in T-lymphocytes and, consequently, a reduced effective immune response to foreign agents. The individual becomes more susceptible to disease. Thymic atrophy also affects general health and vitality.
How can thymus cell atrophy be halted?
Immune cells in the body contain protein substances. Like every cell in our body, they are important proteins (proteins), which form the structure of the cell and participate in its metabolic processes. As was discovered in 1999 by Gunter Blobel, who was awarded the Nobel Prize for his work, proteins control intercellular communication and determine the self-renewability of cells. Lack of peptides (with age or in case of pathology) accelerates tissue deterioration, aging processes and leads to the development of diseases. A complex of proteins and nucleotides, Thymusamine, has been created to maintain the thymus.
How does Timusamin work?
Timusamin is derived from the thymus of cattle and is a complex of proteins and nucleoproteins that are identical to those in humans. Timusamin has a selective effect on the cells of the immune system and promotes an accelerated recovery of functions of both the gland itself and the immune system of the body as a whole.
Due to the mechanism of transcytosis, the incoming protein in unchanged form ends up in the target cell. In this case, the target cells are thymus gland cells. Getting into them, Timusamin saturates the cells with optimal protein "food", allowing them to recover faster and normalize their functions - creation of cells - immune defenders.
Clinical trials of Timusamin were conducted in 124 patients exposed to low doses of ionizing radiation for a long time (including cancer patients after radiation and chemotherapy), and trauma patients with postoperative pyo-septic complications. That is, in patients with proven immune impairment.
In the course of Timusamin tests it was found that its course treatment contributes to the marked improvement of the general state and, above all, to the reduction of asthenic syndrome, characteristic of secondary immunodeficiency. In patients with purulent complications after surgical interventions a significant increase in enzyme activity was found, that testifies to the activation of tissue metabolism processes. In patients with the consequences of radiation and chemotherapy during Timusamin administration there was accelerated normalization of immunological parameters of peripheral blood, improvement of general well-being and reduction of the incidence of infectious complications.
Directions for use:
Timusamin is recommended to take 1-3 tablets 10-15 minutes before meals, 2-3 times a day, for 10-15 days. The course is repeated in 3-6 months. Timusamin has no contraindications and can be used both alone and as part of complex therapy. It can be used as a prophylactic agent during the seasonal incidence of acute respiratory infections, especially in older persons.
What to use with?
Corrects and improves the functioning of the hormonal and immune systems, normalises sleep and wakefulness patterns and has an antioxidant effect.
Normalises and improves the function of the liver and helps it recover from the negative effects of drugs, infections, toxic compounds and alcohol.
