Tobrex eye drops contain tobramycin, a broad-spectrum antibiotic from the aminoglycoside group. Its bactericidal effect extends to Streptococcus and Staphylococcus bacteria, Klebsiella, Escherichia coli and diphtheria bacteria.

Indications:

Infections of the eye and its appendages:

• blepharitis;
• conjunctivitis;
• Keratoconjunctivitis;
• blepharoconjunctivitis;
• keratitis;
• iridocyclitis.

Prevention of postoperative infections.

How to take, course of treatment and dosage:

Eye drops:

In non-serious infection 1 -2 drops in the conjunctival sac every 4 hours.

In acute severe infection 2 drops in the conjunctival sac every 60 minutes, with decreasing frequency of instillation as inflammation subsides.
