Indications:

• Cerebral circulatory insufficiency (recovery period of ischaemic and haemorrhagic stroke);
• Chronic cerebrovascular insufficiency of hypertensive and post-traumatic genesis, parkinsonism of vascular genesis, intoxication;
• Psycho-organic syndrome, with signs of asthenia and adynamia predominating;
• symptomatic treatment of vertigo;
• Prevention of migraine and kinetosis.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to the components of the product,
• pregnancy,
• period of lactation,
• Significant heart rhythm disturbances,
• Coronary heart disease (severe course),
• haemorrhagic stroke,
• severe CKD (creatinine clearance (CK) less than 20 ml/min),
• hepatic insufficiency,
• Patients under 18 years of age.

With caution:

Impaired haemostasis, major surgical interventions, severe bleeding, CKD (CK 20-80 ml/min).

How to take, course of treatment and dosage:

The course of treatment and the dosage of the drug are determined by the attending physician.

For patients aged 18 years and over: Orally, 1 tablet 2 to 3 times a day with enough water, regardless of meals. The last dose is four hours before bedtime. The duration of treatment is from 2-3 weeks to 2-6 months.

Before withdrawal of the drug, the dose should be gradually reduced (VinpotropilŽ may be used in other dosage form: capsules containing 5 mg of Vinpocetine and 400 mg of Piracetam).
